Increment in heart disease is linked with obesity & smoking

In an interview with Dhen TV, Dr. Ranjan Shetty, HOD and Consultant - Interventional Cardiology, Manipal Hospitals discussed the factors that contribute to the rise in heart disease in the Maldives. He said that recent changes in lifestyle such as smoking, drinking, and eating junk food has led to an increase in heart diseases. He further said that the most important controllable risk factor for heart diseases is smoking.

Manipal Hospitals joins AFC Health of Bangladesh

AFC Health Limited of Bangladesh has entered into an agreement with India’s leading healthcare group Manipal Hospital Group with the goal of collaboratively improving healthcare service and achieving technological advancements in Bangladesh. Manipal Group has been involved in the operation and management of the hospitals owned by AFC Health Limited in Bangladesh.
