Increment in heart disease is linked with obesity & smoking

In an interview with Dhen TV, Dr. Ranjan Shetty, HOD and Consultant - Interventional Cardiology, Manipal Hospitals discussed the factors that contribute to the rise in heart disease in the Maldives. He said that recent changes in lifestyle such as smoking, drinking, and eating junk food has led to an increase in heart diseases. He further said that the most important controllable risk factor for heart diseases is smoking.
