Manipal Hospitals India conducted a health workshop in coordination with the Cameroon Association of Media Professionals (CAMP) and Cameroon Association of English-speaking Journalists Douala (CAMASEJ-D) chapter. The workshop was held through video conference with an attendance of more than 50 participants. The workshop was chaired by Dr. Ranjan Shetty, HOD & Consultant - Interventional Cardiology, Manipal Hospitals. The main objective of this workshop was to highlight the importance of knowledge about cardiovascular diseases and how work-related stress can lead to various cardiovascular diseases. Co-speaking at the event was Mr. Karthik Rajagopal, Chief Operating Officer, Manipal Health Enterprises. He said that more such workshops will be organized in the future to educate the public about their health. The key participants from CAMP and CAMASEJ-D were Ndi Maureen, President, CAMASEJ-D, Moki Charles, Advisor, CAMASEJ-D, and Solomon Abromen from CAMP.
