Mrs. Sorma Begum, a 52-year-old lady from Bangladesh, suffered from anal bleeding. She presented with nodules in the anal region which turned out to be malignant melanoma after biopsy. She underwent a robotic abdominoperineal resection surgery at Manipal Hospital Old Airport Road, Bangalore.
